All guitarists have our systems and ways of practicing the guitar to which we have been coming thanks to our experiences and musical needs.
My way of practicing guitar now is totally different from the one I had when I was young and I thought it was all about repeating an exercise or a scale many times until I played it clean and fast and then when I was making music I found myself with very few musical resources and a technique that did not serve me almost at all.
Now my practice sessions try to be more musical than gymnastic and that gives me a lot of confidence when it comes to improvising and interpreting.
The secret maybe is to practice as slowly and cleanly as possible and always thinking about playing nice.
In this video I was working Aeolian Em of G and at the end of the session I was also working Dorian Em of D
